Our Commitment To Privacy

To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining Essium's online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, it is available on our homepage and wherever personally identifiable information may be requested. This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Essium website.

The Information We Collect

When you browse our website, your IP address (the internet address of your computer) is recorded so we may know how you are using our website. Your browser may also automatically provide us with information regarding your computer and operating system. This information is used by Essium to monitor and improve our website. This information is not linked back to you as an individual user. On some pages, you can order services, make requests and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected on these pages are name, address, email, phone, fax and billing information. To tailor our subsequent communications to you and continuously improve our services, we may also ask you to voluntarily provide us with information regarding your personal or professional interests, demographics, experience with our services and contact preferences.

The Way We Use Information

Essium uses this information to better understand your needs and provide you with better service. Specifically, we use your information to help you complete a transaction, to communicate back to you, update you on services and benefits, and personalize our website for you. From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research or to provide you with information about other Essium services that we think would be of interest to you. At a minimum, we will always give you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving such direct marketing or market research communications. You may exercise this right to opt-out at any time. We may share data with third-party vendors and service providers who assist us in providing our services, such as payment processors, cloud hosting providers, and background check providers. We have contracts with these providers dictating how data is used and requiring them to protect your information and privacy. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share mobile numbers with any third party for that party's own purposes - see SMS/Text Message Notifications below. We never use or share the personal information you provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses. If you consent, we use Google Analytics to understand website usage. Google Ads may receive those measurements, including a sign-up event when you create an account, to measure how our ads perform. These services may process device, browser, IP address, and interaction data. Google tracking does not load until you enable the corresponding category in Cookie settings, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the site footer.

SMS/Text Message Notifications

Xenqu can send SMS/text message notifications about the status of an onboarding account - pending tasks, requested documents, and account status updates. These are account notifications, not marketing.

No one receives notifications from us without opting in. Consent is collected either in the application, through a checkbox that is unchecked by default, or by SMS reply when an employer's administrator adds a mobile number - in that case the system sends a single confirmation request and sends nothing further unless you reply YES. Our SMS Opt-In Policy at https://www.xenqu.ai/sms-policy describes every way consent is collected and shows the exact wording used.

Message frequency varies. Messages are sent in response to activity on your onboarding account, so how many you receive depends on that activity.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for messages you send or receive. Those charges are between you and your carrier.

We do not sell your mobile number, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We use your mobile number to send the notifications described in this section and, where it is the only contact information we hold for you, to identify your account. The only disclosure we make is to the telecommunications provider that transmits the messages for us, which is contractually restricted to using the number for that purpose alone. Mobile numbers collected for text message notifications are not shared with advertising, analytics, or marketing services.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, and you will receive no further text messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact [email protected]. You can also change your SMS preferences in the application under Settings → Communication preferences.

We keep a record of your consent - when it was given, how it was given, and the wording you were shown.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

How You Can Correct Your Information

At any time, you may obtain a summary of your personal information on record with Essium. You may also request that we dispose of any or all personal information about you, except for personal information we need to complete transactions or to maintain proper records of previous transactions. You can help us maintain the accuracy of your information by notifying us of any change to your personal information.
